Book Launch Party A Success!

I have wanted to post these photos for weeks! And I tell you, if it wasn't one thing, it was the other. I am excited to get them up now!

The book launch party was so much fun! And it was a great success! Thank you to everyone who attended! It was great to see you all! And I really appreciate your support!

Also, a big thank-you to the following people: Nancy, for acting as MC—she did a fantastic job! (She told me later she was as nervous as I was, but you'd have never known!) Sabrina, for acting as the event photographer! I've mentioned before this girl takes a mean photo. As always, I encourage you to check out her site for more of her work. My mom and grandmother, for making the party possible! And The Best Western in Loveland, for putting on such a great event.

So, check out these photos:

It's real! That's the thought that hit me when I saw this sign. Ha ha. It had just been a dream or a goal until this point.

Same thing. Another "It's real!" moment.

Tom Rose as Krupp, the swindling mechanic. You have got to watch this video!

One of my favorite parts of the skit!

The actors on set! Jill Heuser as Zoe Grey, Tom Rose as Krupp, Paul Weeldreyer as Manny, and Ilene Caster (my grandma!) as the woman in the lobby.

Nancy as MC, introducing the skit

Checking out the book trailer. (Watch the book trailer or read The Making of the Book Trailer.)

Me, reading a excerpt from the book. (I was so nervous I really can't remember reading it!)

This is my family!

  1. Nice one! It would have been a great success. Congratulations! I think I need to book an event space San Francisco like this for my aunt’s book launch as well. I got to know a lot about the event from this post. I am sure I will be able to make it the best day of her life.
